Sep 24 2019 - QQQ's Breach 50-day, SPY Prints Bearish Engulfing

Political headlines caused the $VIX to spike and the markets to come off their highs by day's end. The QQQ's closed below their 50-day SMA, which is technically bearish. While SPY did print a bearish engulfing candle it did not close below its 50-day SMA. Caution is warranted heading into the rest of the week.
