Netflix (NFLX) Offering Possible 69.49% Return Over the Next 14 Calendar Days

Netflix's most recent trend suggests a bullish bias. One trading opportunity on Netflix is a Bull Put Spread using a strike $372.50 short put and a strike $367.50 long put offers a potential 69.49% return on risk over the next 14 calendar days. Maximum profit would be generated if the Bull Put Spread were to expire worthless, which would occur if the stock were above $372.50 by expiration. The full premium credit of $2.05 would be kept by the premium seller. The risk of $2.95 would be incurred if the stock dropped below the $367.50 long put strike price.

The 5-day moving average is moving down which suggests that the short-term momentum for Netflix is bearish and the probability of a decline in share price is higher if the stock starts trending.

The 20-day moving average is moving up which suggests that the medium-term momentum for Netflix is bullish.

The RSI indicator is at 55.58 level which suggests that the stock is neither overbought nor oversold at this time.

Shunning FAANG Paid Off for Stock Pickers in September
Wed, 03 Oct 2018 17:07:01 +0000
Large-cap core funds in September saw their best month since 2009 as all but one member of the FAANG block of Facebook, Apple,, Netflix and Google parent Alphabet fell, bucking the broader market’s upturn. About 68 percent of the funds beat their benchmarks, a huge turnaround from August, when only 13 percent did, the worst showing since Bank of America Corp. began compiling the data. “Core funds’ weak performance in August was in part due to underweight positions in FAANG stocks, and in September, with NFLX the sole gainer in the group, core funds likely benefited from this same stance,” strategists led by Savita Subramanian wrote in a note to clients.
