Boeing (BA) Offering Possible 49.25% Return Over the Next 13 Calendar Days

Boeing's most recent trend suggests a bearish bias. One trading opportunity on Boeing is a Bear Call Spread using a strike $375.00 short call and a strike $380.00 long call offers a potential 49.25% return on risk over the next 13 calendar days. Maximum profit would be generated if the Bear Call Spread were to expire worthless, which would occur if the stock were below $375.00 by expiration. The full premium credit of $1.65 would be kept by the premium seller. The risk of $3.35 would be incurred if the stock rose above the $380.00 long call strike price.

The 5-day moving average is moving down which suggests that the short-term momentum for Boeing is bearish and the probability of a decline in share price is higher if the stock starts trending.

The 20-day moving average is moving down which suggests that the medium-term momentum for Boeing is bearish.

The RSI indicator is at 42.6 level which suggests that the stock is neither overbought nor oversold at this time.

” (October 3): the World Trade Organization is probably among the least qualified bodies to ascertain aircraft manufacturing dispute claims. It also can’t seem to make up its mind: over a decade ago it ruled against Boeing over “illegal” subsidies it deemed in excess of $5bn. In both cases, the WTO may be making a prima facie case against the very premise of its own trade and subsidy rulings: new aircraft would not come to market but for state support (especially the case today in China aerospace programmes).

Thu, 03 Oct 2019 20:28:00 +0000
MONTREAL/SEATTLE, Oct 3 (Reuters) – Spirit AeroSystems Holdings Inc has emerged as the front-runner to acquire Bombardier Inc's aerostructures facilities in Belfast and Morocco, two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters. A deal for the plants would be strategic for U.S. aerospace components maker Spirit, which is diversifying its customer base. Bombardier said in May it would sell off the two aerostructures operations, including a wing-making facility in Belfast, as the Montreal-based company sheds its commercial aviation businesses to focus on more profitable corporate jets and passenger rail cars businesses.
